World Communications Day 2009

On Sunday 24th of May, we celebrate the 43rd World Communications Day.

We all need to communicate. We need to connect with each other in our busy world even in the throes of a recession. But ask ourselves are we building walls or bridges to connect love messages, kind thoughts or appreciation and remember our family and friends or are we the cause of spreading gossips ?

This month is a bit special as we are celebrating Mother's Day and in the coming months, Father's Day will be around the corner. Do we not find time to pause and start to find time to use communication tools to enrich our lives by giving our mum a long distant call or sending her a SMS message.

There is no impossible dream

Remember that there is no impossible dream that you cannot achieve.

It is your mindset.

Always mobilise maximum attention and time to focus on your goal that you want to achieve.

Once you set your mind on it, back up with passion and persistent hard work, surely and slowly you will see the result.

Appreciate the meaning of life

Our Life on earth is too short to learn and re-learn all the experiences that we want.

In our busy world, we often do not have time to appreciate the finer things in life. Like a walk in nature, appreciate a nice piece of art or a slow slip of hot coffee with company of close friends.

Be grateful that we are alive each day to learn new experiences, makes more discoveries and cover more unknown lands. Learn to appreciate the moment and treasure the good conversation that you have with your kids.
