Pool $2 million Transfer Kitty

I cannot believe that Liverpool has only $2 million left in their Transfer kitty.

Although, money spent on new contracts for Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Daniel Agger and Dirk Kuyt as well as several of Benitez's backroom team, must come out of the transfer budget; it does make sense to secure their long term commitments.

However, the nature and manner of Liverpool's defeat at Spurs, goes to show the paucity of Rafael's squad depth was obvious. We do not have quality and strength in depth. Too many untried youngsters at the substition bench. The worrisome sign is that the squad is depleted thanks to injuries to our three recognised Centre-backs Carragher (head injury), Skrtel (Crack Cheekbone) and Agger (back injury). It has somehow added grist to the mill.

I really pray that miracles will happen and aid in Liverpool quest; if it is again not their season, when ... ...

On Marriage and reflecting on Wedding Anniversary

Marrige is a life long commitment and vocation.

As my wedding anniversary draws near in two months time, I begin to reflect deep upon the vow that I have made.

I am lucky to get a free ticket to watch liverpool beats our National Team by an emphatic win 5-0. I witnessed the famous Kallang roar at the stadium. It is a good atmosphere with a huge crowd. There are followers all the way from Malaysia.

Really missing the action for quite a while especially I am not a local S-League fan. The last time was when Liverpool visits Singapore back in 2001.

Where will Xabi Alonso be coming season

Liverpool pass master,Spanish midfield Xabi Alonso seems to be on his way to Real Madrid.

It is believed that Real has resurrected the deal when it seems dead. Real is willing to offer more than $22 million together with 1 or 2 player in a swap deal.

With the season looming around the corner, it is best that Alonso future can be resolved soon so that a suitable replacement could be recruited should he leave.

Although, I am not a big fan of Alonso. He has been one of our unsung heroes for Liverpool last season. Such is his consistent form and precise pass that any football teams would greatly welcome him into the first team.

Kenny Dalglish Returns to Liverpool As An Ambassador

It has been official announced that iconic Kenny Dalglish is back at the club he has played for and managed, and will be helping manager Rafael in his new role with the club's academy as well as a club ambassador.

It will only auger well for Liverpool as I am sure King Kenny who is dubbed as the greatest Liverpool player ever to don the Reds Shirt will bring the club forward.

His duties will include helping the club's commercial and business operations around the world. It is an exciting role and I am sure he does not need to ponder much before accepting the post.

Aquarama International Ornamental Fish and Accessories Exhibition 2009

I was busy over the weekend attending the Aquarama Interntional Ornamental Fish and Accessories Exhibition at Suntec.

Did you miss it ? The next one will be in 2-year times on 26- 29 May 2011 at Suntec Singapore.

In fact, this year exhibition has been slightly scale down and the number of participating outlets has significant reduced.

There were some cheap sales on last day on Sunday. It is a eye-opener for me to catch some prized guppies, betta, goldfish and dragonfish on show.

World Communications Day 2009

On Sunday 24th of May, we celebrate the 43rd World Communications Day.

We all need to communicate. We need to connect with each other in our busy world even in the throes of a recession. But ask ourselves are we building walls or bridges to connect love messages, kind thoughts or appreciation and remember our family and friends or are we the cause of spreading gossips ?

This month is a bit special as we are celebrating Mother's Day and in the coming months, Father's Day will be around the corner. Do we not find time to pause and start to find time to use communication tools to enrich our lives by giving our mum a long distant call or sending her a SMS message.

Yesterday headline reads Yossi Benayoun scored a dramatic winner to hand Liverpool a 1-0 victory to keep the Premier League title race alive.

We have seen that Liverpool have done it at least 8 times this season in injury time or stoppage time - to score the vital goal.

It is well deserved birthday gift for Rafael Benitez. It is a sweet victory and as a fan I don't mind the margin of the win even it is 1-0. I think we have a realistic chance of winning the Premiership Title. The victory certainly gives us a lift and we are definitely there for a shout come May.

Anxiety about tomorrow will not eliminate the troubles of tomorrow.

Every each new day has it own challenges and troubles.

No amount of worrying will make tomorrow trouble free.

Unwavering faith, prayer and constant hope will endures you to the end.

Learn to let go

Imagine that you are flying a kite or building a castle near the beach.

When the string of your kite is broken what is your reaction ... despair and become disappointed ?

When the great wave crashes into the castle that you have made... what do you do. Do you becomes terrified and hovers over in the moment to protect the castle as best as you can.

The above two examples are good example in treating a relationship. When it is time to let go, just let it go, we should not be pulling the string of the kite too hard. We should sit back and take a good look at the situation. If love is gone and chooses not to rest upon you, just let it go.... if you pray hard, love will come to you again. Be thankfully that a love relationship is an experience that has come to you before. It is for us to learn and grow.
